So much of China All Around
Asia is in every politicians mind. Why? It is an economical tide. No secret there. China is leading the market. Whether it is Rare elements, technology or new oil and gas, China has the materials that rocks the globe. When politicians say Asia, they really mean China. There are other players, such as Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and the lovely Burma. But when politicians say Asia, they mean China.
Yesterday we saw Barack Obama come out, in what the news called a landslide loss of the Congress House but keeping majority in the Senate. And then Barack Obama mentioned Asia when he was questioned about generating work. Why? It is simple, it is exports and imports. It is local work and domestic manufacture. It is free market. And it is Asia, sorry I mean China. Yes, there are other players in the area, such as Taiwan, Japan, South Korea (now designing close) and North Korea which is a different player all together. And then there is the beautiful Burma. But when politicians say Asia, they mean China.
President Hu Jintao is now taking a head start. The G20 is still not here but President Hu Jintao is taking the four days to tour Europe. He is scheduled to speak to the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy. And he is travelling to Portugal. Strange you might think. But France is no stranger to Asia.
Lots of things are happening. Economically, developments are sky rocketing, financially currency is being coined. China’s goes to Europe with new numbers, recently having made their national Census.
Hope, strength, power and diplomacy are some of the words used to describe China´s policy. A regional consolidation that goes international. China now goes on the road to Europe, taking the baggage of South East Asia as no one can take. Many things are happening in November. Beautiful November, gas pipelines November. Middle East contracts November. Trading, economical balance and stability, and strange Yen November.
For others China is known as the country that blocks certain United Nations resolutions. They say China provides support to North Korea, Burma and others. However, Chinese experts say they respect national sovereignty and believe in regional stability. Some may want to hear about numbers others may want to hear about the Lady, as November is also time for Burma’s election. The truth is there is whole lot of China all around.
